Give us your elevator pitch. What does your business do?

We are a holistic health and wellness hub with a café. My business connects professionals to enable collaboration between modalities in order to heal the whole body.

Why did you start your business?

In my health and wellness journey, I gathered a lot of skills, courses, and credentials to heal myself. I had to share with others that had gone through the same struggle as me, this newfound wisdom. I know what it’s like, I’ve been there, and so I started this to help people like the old me.

What does wellness mean to you?

It means functioning at a high level. It is an ongoing thing, one that takes time to master and maintain. It’s a journey.

What are your three top health tips?

  1. Sleep
  2. Eat real food that heals and nourishes our body
  3. Connect with those around you

What are three pieces of advice you would give to someone looking to make healthy changes in their lifestyle?

  1. Start with a step that’s achievable
  2. Build your own food philosophy and get grounded in it
  3. Connect with like-minded individuals
Tell us, with an anecdote, why your business has changed your life?

Throughout my life I struggled with my emotional health and mental health. I experienced depression, anxiety, weight fluctuations, hormonal issues, fatigue, glue ear, and domestic violence. I thought my life was destined to antidepressants and managing my day-to-day living by coping. I completed a degree in Psychology and Anthropology, Graduate Diploma Psychology and completed a Changing Habits Nutrition Course, twenty8 Healthy Lifestyle Educator Course, FasterEFT, GAPS, MINDD practitioner and many more modalities.

I realised how we are the holders of our own destinies and found the path that got me to optimal health and every day excites me. My passion is providing alternate methods of health services and catered to the individual. I am also heavily involved in my community and hold regular Toowoomba Community Health Meetings that provide information and bring people together.

How do you manage a work/life balance?

I love what I do and every day fills me with love, gratitude and energy that flows into everything I do.

The best book to read for better health and wellness?

Your favourite inspiration/ motivation/ lifestyle quote?

The four words that best describe your business?
