The Ultimate Gut Seal and Diversity Dough Triple Choc Brownie

The Ultimate Gut Seal and Diversity Dough Triple Choc Brownie

This super simple brownie recipe is an absolute winner. Not only does the diversity dough make this brownie the perfect chewy consistency, but the fibres literally feed and grow new beneficial microbes in the gut. There’s so much to love here... eggs for B vitamins and liver support, chocolate galore for its prebiotics and polyphenols. The gut seal premix with fibre, healthy fats, polyphenols, and antioxidants, not to mention nutrients. This is a true decadent treat and one that builds wellbeing through solid nutrition.

Ingredients

1/2 cup diversity dough
150g gut seal premix
100 g chopped cooking chocolate (consider Pana cooking chocolate for a dairy free option. Milk for more sweetness or dark for more intensity)
1 cup xylitol/erythritol OR sweetener of your choice.
1 tsp vanilla powder or high quality vanilla essence
Pinch salt
2 free range eggs
Extra 50g chopped chocolate kept aside

Instructions

Preheat oven to 160 degrees
Grease and line a 20cm square loaf tin

In a mixer, add all ingredients except the reserved 50g chocolate. Mix until combined into a sticky paste.
Spread mixture into your prepared tin, push out into sides, and flatten into approx 1 inch thick.

Sprinkle reserved chocolate on top and bake for 30 minutes.
