Join the Kultured Wellness Program
The Kultured Wellness program assists individuals and families facing complex health challenges. We support clients over an extended period of time (6 months) to undertake diet and lifestyle changes to bring about significant change to their health.
The program can assist with issues such as:
- Chronic health problems such as IBS, allergies, intolerances, bloating, foggy brain, weight gain, rashes and skin issues, acne, eczema, fatty liver, insomnia and hormonal issues
- Severe digestive disorders including parasites, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis
- Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and behavioural problems in children and adults
- Autoimmune conditions
- Anxiety, depression and other mental health problems
How it works:
During an initial consult, Kirsty Wirth founder of Kultured Wellness will work with you to determine your health goals for the program. Kirsty and her team will then guide you over the next six months to support you to achieve these goals.
The Kultured Wellness gut-healing diet and lifestyle program has been designed to:
- Utilise nutrient-rich foods, with an emphasis on using functional fermented nutrition to enable a rebuilding of the gut microbiome
- Incorporate exercise and movement to support detoxification and help the body to function optimally
- Identify and address current obstacles to health, whether dietary or lifestyle
Personalised support and guidance
Support is key to this program, and throughout the program you will gain a detailed understanding of what is required in order for you to get well. Together you will work out the specifics of how to make that happen, and how to overcome challenges along the way.
The protocol will be tailored to your individual needs, and will provide tools and a personalised framework for being able to live well.
This program is a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach that utilises:
- The latest scientific research on the gut microbiome
- Functional fermented foods
- Ayurvedic medicine
- Behavioural therapy
- Oils and traditional supplements and procedures
- Genetic information to tailor diet and lifestyle recommendations
- Gut testing to help target specific imbalances in the gut
(please note that genetic and gut testing is not included in the cost of the package)
How much is the package and what is included?
The six-month consulting package is $4500 and includes:
- An initial 1 hour consult followed by regular consults in person or via Skype (one hour per week for the first two months and then ongoing as required for the rest of the program)
- Unlimited email support for the duration of the progam.
- Six months of probiotic cultures delivered to you
Are there any extra costs?
Additional products, vitamin and mineral supplements, and further testing may be recommended. However, the primary nutritional supplementation for this program is homemade probiotic foods using Kultured Wellness starter cultures, which are included in the package cost.
What is your program based on and how is it different from other diet protocols?
Our program incorporates elements from many well studied protocols including GAPS, SCD, Body Ecology, Wahls Protocol, The Hormone Cure and the Human Microbiome project.
In addition, it uses an integrative approach to wellness, where lifestyle factors play just as an important role in achieving health as food.
Does your program involve restrictive eating and is it designed to allow for the reintroduction of a wide variety of foods in the future?
It takes commitment and a restrictive approach to heal severe health concerns that may be as a result of genetics, trauma, or things that have happened in the past. This program prescribes a restrictive eating plan, because that is exactly what is needed in order to achieve health. The diet is not restrictive to the body and quite contrarily, it floods it with the nutrients it needs to build a robust immune system, detox system, and a strong gut. Your body will thrive on these foods as it will finally be receiving what it needs to flourish and heal. It is a mental battle to move past what you believe is restrictive and what your taste buds and emotional connections deem as a diverse and balanced diet, and look at what your cells need.
Once your microbiome and immune system is balanced, your body will tell you what it wants and needs. You will begin to look at food differently and not feel like foods should be restricted or eliminated or added, you will see food as something that either nourishes or not.
What does the process of rebuilding your gut microbiome involve?
The process begins with a modified diet in conjunction with high-dose probiotics, designed to eliminate pathogenic organisms from the body while nourishing the good gut flora.
This diet removes processed foods, sugar, carbohydrates, grains, all dairy except butter, fruit (which can be enjoyed when fermented) and includes lean proteins, and nourishing fats. Nuts and seeds will be eliminated in the early stages, and for some with complex issues a time on an elemental pureed diet will be necessary.
Throughout the program, you will also address lifestyle factors that may be negatively impacting the health of your gut microbiome.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, we do offer a payment plan if required. Please contact us for more details.
Can I work with Kirsty on a casual basis?
Kirsty’s expertise is in supporting people to make significant long-term improvements to chronic health conditions through a rebalancing of the gut microbiome, and this is not something that can happen as a result of one or even a few appointments. As a result, Kirsty is currently only consulting with ongoing package clients.
Can I get a refund on the program once I’ve started?
The purpose of the initial consult is to establish your goals for the program, and determine whether working with Kirsty it is right for you. If after this you choose to go ahead with the program, we require a non-refundable commitment of $2500 for the first two months. If after this time you are not satisfied with how things are going, you are eligible for a partial refund of the remaining costs if you choose to exit the program early.
It sounds like a huge commitment, and I’m not sure if it’s a good time for me.
While there’s often no optimal time to undertake a program like this, it is a big commitment and it’s not for everyone. If you have any further questions or concerns, please get in touch.
How do I know if this package is right for me?
If you are looking for a “quick fix” to your problems and aren’t willing to make significant diet and lifestyle changes necessary to get well, then this program is not for you.
This program is for you if you are:
Looking to make clear and sustainable steps towards feeling well
You’re sick of the specialist merry-go-round: diagnoses, one-off treatments, medications and referrals, and have an inkling that your health problems need to be addressed at the root cause. Perhaps you have trialed restrictive diets without the level of success you had hoped for. You have reached a dead-end with your own research and are seeking someone with the knowledge and experience to be able to help you understand the steps you need to take control of your health issues for good.
Ready to take responsibility
You understand that the only person who can help you get well is yourself. While it’s you that will be doing the hard work, you won’t be doing it alone. Kirsty and her team are 100% committed to supporting you wherever possible to reach your health goals, from wherever your starting point may be.
Here for the long haul
You’re willing to commit to an extended period of time, knowing that long-term health will not be achieved through a single course of antibiotics, nutritional supplementation or procedure. A complete rebuilding of the gut microbiome is key to allowing the body to heal and repair itself, and this is a process that takes time and a high level of personal commitment.
Willing to welcome a new chapter
You’re excited by what feeling “well” might mean for your future. While a big aim of our program is to support you to feel healthy and live a full life, it is likely that some aspects of your “old” life will need to change permanently in order for you to live optimally. It’s important that you are willing to let go of some past traditions that may have been negatively impacting your health, and embrace the possibilities of living in a way that is more in-tune with your individual needs.
If this sounds like you, then we’d love for you to get in touch. An initial 1 hour consult is $165 and this will be deducted from the total package cost if you decide to go ahead with it. Please contact us to book your appointment.
